30+ Families Finalize Adoptions at LEGOLAND Florida


There are some days that simply shine a little brighter—and our recent Adoption Day at LEGOLAND Florida was one of them. More than 30 families and 52 extraordinary children came together for a milestone moment that blended joy, relief, celebration, and just the right amount of theme-park magic.


Heartland for Children was honored to partner with LEGOLAND Florida and the 10th Judicial Circuit Court to help finalize these adoptions in a setting as playful and vibrant as the families themselves. From the moment families arrived, there was a feeling in the air—something between butterflies and pure excitement—as they prepared to make forever official.


A Morning of Love, Followed by a Day of Adventure

After heartfelt adoption ceremonies filled with happy tears, big hugs, and a whole lot of cheering, families stepped into a day of celebration throughout the park. Kids—and let’s be honest, plenty of adults—took in the rides, shows, and larger-than-life LEGO creations. Everywhere you looked, families were building memories together, one joyful moment at a time.


A Community That Makes It Possible

An event like this doesn’t happen without an incredible village. We’re deeply grateful for the partnership and support from our community champions, including Selfless Love Foundation, Lutheran Services Florida, One Hope United, Children’s Home Society of Florida, the Florida Department of Children and Families, and the Florida Coalition for Children. Their commitment helps create life-changing moments for children and families throughout our community.
