Celebrating Terrence's Reunification Story

Terrence, a father of three, faced unimaginable challenges after the tragic passing of their mother. His children were placed in licensed care, and a Termination of Parental Rights petition was filed. Motivated to regain custody, Terrence relocated from New York to Florida with just the clothes on his back and a one-way ticket to Polk County. Despite staying in a homeless shelter and hotels, he persisted in his journey.

Navigating the dependency system and connecting to resources was daunting, but Reginald, our Fatherhood Support Specialist, was there every step of the way. Through his guidance, Terrence improved his parenting capacities and ultimately reunited with his children.

Today, the family is together and healing, thanks to Reginald's unwavering support. 💖👨‍👧‍👦
