    • Brief Strategic Family Therapy - A structured family systems approach to treat families with children or adolescents (6 to 17 years) who display or are at risk for developing problem behaviors including substance abuse, conduct problems, and delinquency. 

    • Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) - The infant mental health program supports children ages 0-5 and their caregivers in Polk, Highlands, and Hardee Counties. It helps with trauma, attachment, and healing after experiences like loss, separation, abuse, or behavioral challenges.

    • Functional Family Therapy (FFT) - An evidence-based, intensive family intervention with integrated case management that treats family needs in their home. Services are provided weekly by trained clinicians through family sessions over 4-7 months.

    • Neighbor to Family - Neighbor To Family's foster care program keeps siblings together, and FIRST offers in-home support to prevent foster care placement.

    • Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) - An evidence-based program coaching parents in real-time to address their young children's behavioral or emotional issues.

    • Association for Autism and Neurodiversity - AANE provides a safe space for teens to connect and engage, empowering them to be their authentic selves within a supportive peer community.

    • Autism Society of Orlando - ASGO, founded in 1996, supports Central Florida families with autism through volunteer-driven advocacy, education, and community engagement.

    • Better Together - Since 2015, Better Together has helped 9,000+ children and 42,000 job seekers through its Better Families and Better Jobs programs.

    • Guardian Ad Litem  Office (Circuit 10) - The Florida Statewide Guardian ad Litem Office represents abused and neglected children in foster care, focusing on their legal and social needs.

    • Healthy Families - Healthy Families is a free, voluntary home visitation program that promotes positive parenting, child development, and family well-being, while connecting families with community resources.

    • Healthy Start Coalition of Hardee, Highlands, and Polk Counties, Inc. - Offer FREE educational resources, screenings and facilitate connection to help you and your family through pregnancy and beyond.

    • Heart 4 Winter Haven - We believe poverty stems from broken relationships. We bring people together to restore connections, build resources, and grow community.

    • Hope Florida - Uniting communities through Hope Navigators to guide Floridians on an individualized path to prosperity, economic self-sufficiency and hope.

    • John Hopkins Hospital Injury Prevention and Child Safety - Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital provides expert pediatric care and educational programs for patients, families, and healthcare professionals, focusing on children’s well-being.

    • Lake Wales Care Center - Lake Wales Care Center is a faith-based organization that connects people in need with those eager to serve, demonstrating Christ's love through community support.

    • Metropolitan Ministries - We provide essential services for homeless and at-risk children and families, offering shelter, education, and support for a brighter future. With the help of donors, we serve the 32,000 homeless in our communities, giving them hope and a path forward.

    • My Autism Connection, Inc. - My Autism Connection (MAC) supports autistic adults by providing skill-building opportunities, fostering friendships, and promoting acceptance.

    • Polk County Teen Court - Teen Court lets first-time offenders be tried by peers, avoiding a criminal record through peer-decided sentences.

    • Regional Distribution Center for FAAST - The CIL works with the community to promote inclusion for people with disabilities by removing barriers and offering education, resources, and training to enhance self-determination.

    • Rose Dynasty Foundation Center - Rose Dynasty Foundation Inc. provides a safe, inclusive space for LGBTQ+ youth and those on the autism spectrum, offering mentoring and community events across Florida and online.

    • Safe Kids Coalition - A coalition of health and safety experts from a variety of backgrounds working to decrease the number of preventable childhood injuries in the Tampa Bay area.

    • Salvation Army of Lakeland: Pathway to Hope Program - The Pathway of Hope initiative by The Salvation Army targets families with children to break the generational cycle of poverty. Using a strength-based case management approach, it aims to positively impact both parents and children, helping them escape poverty.

    • Self-Help (Pro Se) Services - The Self-Help Program offers assistance with domestic relations cases but does not provide legal advice. 

    • Strengthening Families Program - The Strengthening Families Program is a free, evidence-based course teaching parenting and youth skills.

    • The Hearth Project - The HEARTH Project supports homeless families in Polk County by removing barriers to education, ensuring equal opportunities for academic success.

    • United Way of Central Florida - United Way of Central Florida inspires the community to give, advocate, and volunteer by addressing needs and mobilizing resources for positive local change.

    • United Way: Help Me Grow - Help Me Grow is a program of United Way that promotes early identification of developmental, behavioral, and educational concerns, then links children and families to community-based services and supports at no cost to parents and caregivers.

    • Volunteer in Service to the Elderly - Volunteers in Service to the Elderly (VISTE) is a community-based, non-profit organization with the primary goal of VISTE is to enable elderly persons to remain safely and independently in their own homes.

    • Women's Resource Center - Operating for over 33 years, The Women’s Resource Center (WRC) has continued fulfilling their mission to assist families in crisis throughout Polk County.

    • Florida Mission of Mercy: Dental Care - Florida Mission of Mercy provides free dental care to underserved and uninsured patients, with $2.3 million in care donated by volunteers to 1,850 patients.

    • Lakeland Volunteers in Medicine - Volunteers in Medicine (VIM) provides free medical services, focusing on dignity and respect, with volunteers offering care at no cost and without third-party billing.

    • Polk HealthCare Plan - If you are a Polk County resident who has little or no-income and are without health coverage or insurance, or are waiting to qualify for Medicaid, then the Polk HealthCare Plan may be for you.

    • Positively U - The mission of Positively U is to provide culturally appropriate and compassionate programming to people living with HIV and preventive services to the community at large, with an emphasis on tailoring our activities to meet each individual’s specific needs.

    • We Care of Central Florida - We Care of Central Florida connects low-income, uninsured residents with specialty care through a network of volunteer healthcare providers

    • Gospel Inc. - Gospel Village offers housing and work opportunities for the formerly homeless, fostering stability and community.

    • George Harris Youth Shelter - We provide shelter, support, and counseling for youth 10-17 in crisis, at no cost to families.

    • Florida Coalition Against Human Trafficking - this 501(c3) organization that has been helping victims of human trafficking since 2004.

    • Her Song (Tim Tebow Foundation) - Her Song serves survivors of human trafficking through residential survivor care.

    • Life Recaptured Inc. - Our team provides refuge and freedom to victims of sex trafficking, through our Safe Home and our 3 phase program.

    • One More Child - One More Child is helping trafficking survivors begin a new life by providing expert leadership, holistic care, and powerful advocacy. We are also working to prevent more children and adults from being trafficked while predators financially profit.

    • Paving the Way Foundation - Stand with us as we empower communities to be a fierce disruption in the cycle of child exploitation through education and ​prevention programs to end child trafficking. 

    • Red Tent Initiative - Providing trauma informed care to women who are incarcerated or at risk of incarceration

    • Redefining Refuge - While minor Victims of Sex Trafficking are frequently recognized as children who have been victims of sexual abuse, it is imperative to note that their level of abuse and trauma is so severe, and thus requires a specialized means of care, which we provide by means of our Specialized Services. 

    • Selah Freedom - an anti-human trafficking non-profit organization 501(c)3. We are based in Florida with the mission to end sex trafficking and bring freedom to the exploited through five strong programs: Awareness, Prevention, Outreach, Residential and Consulting.

    • Healthy Families Polk - this free, voluntary program that gives families useful information on parenting and child development to include parenting programs and parenting classes.

    • Healthy Start of Hardee, Highlands and Polk Counties - Healthy Start HHP's programs are designed to support and enhance the well-being of families and communities.

    • Solo Parent - Solo Parent's mission is to provide the resources, community, and encouragement needed to help solo parents thrive—so they can build strong, healthy families.

    • United Way Children's Resource Center - Located in the heart of Lakeland, the Carol Jenkins Barnett United Way Children’s Resource Center is a community-based learning and resource center that provides classes, playgroups, workshops, developmental checkups, community activities, and support for parents and caregivers of children aged 0-6, as well as for expectant moms and dads. 

    • Edgewood Children's Ranch - The unique case for each child is central to our Family and Behavioral Care Program here at Edgewood Children’s Ranch. We prepare each camper to lead a fulfilling life in their community and in God.

    • Hands of Mercy Everywhere (H.O.M.E.) - a program of LSF, established in 2004, and our community work together to provide teen mothers and girls at risk of sex trafficking with needed resources, including education, parenting classes, life skills, career development, counseling and other means of evidenced-based programs and support as we lovingly transition them into adulthood and rebirth.

    • House of Hope - Since 1985, House of Hope Orlando has been providing hope, healing and restoration to troubled teens and families.

    • My Father's Arrows - The mission of My Father’s Arrows is to provide children who have been impacted by trauma with nurturing, safety, and stability.

    • Bridges International - The Auburndale Bridge is a Residential Level II Substance Abuse Treatment Program for women built on the Therapeutic Community Concepts model.

    • Charlie Health - Evidence-based mental health & substance use 100% virtual intensive outpatient program for ages 11-34. They serve a broad range of individuals, as we are that mid-level of mental healthcare. 

    • Chrysalis Health - Our substance use programs offer personalized treatment for individuals and families, with counseling and therapy tailored to specific needs.

    • Sunrise Detox Orlando - Sunrise Detox Orlando treats men and women ages 18 and older who want a safety-focused method to clear the body of alcohol or drugs.

    • Tampa Bay Therapist & Associates - Tampa Bay Therapist & Associates has both male and female providers with years of clinical expertise. We provide culturally sensitive counseling to all people, regardless of their background

    • Tri County Human Services - Tri-County Human Services, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit organization, providing substance abuse, mental health, and co-occurring treatment to residents of Polk, Hardee and Highlands Counties.

    • Waychangers Services LLC - We offer strengths-based counseling in Hillsborough, Pasco, Hernando, and Polk Counties, helping clients improve career, family, and relationships. Our services support those ready to make a change.

    • White Sands Alcohol & Drug Rehab - White Sands Treatment Center, founded in 2014, offers personalized treatment with a focus on comfort and long-term sobriety, aiming to improve addiction recovery standards.

  • Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®) is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. TBRI® uses Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting Principles for attachment needs, and Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors. While the intervention is based on years of attachment, sensory processing, and neuroscience research, the heartbeat of TBRI® is connection. Learn More
