Licensing Specialist - Recruitment

Job Summary: 

This is a professional position responsible for recruiting, engaging, and supporting prospective foster parents through community outreach, relationship‑building, and guiding families through the initial steps of the licensing process.

Essential Functions:

  • Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with HFC customers

  • Bring research based recruitment initiatives and practices to the role

  • Recruit prospective foster families

  • Provide follow-up to all inquiries with re-engagement needs

  • Work with community partners in recruitment efforts

  • Plan and organize recruitment activities in the community

  • Assist in the development and maintain recruitment tracking systems

  • Provide ongoing up to date support, resources and referral information to foster caregivers

  • Enter family information into internal inquiry trackers

  • Co-host with Foster Home Information Orientation

  • Perform special projects as assigned

Required Qualifications: 

Bachelors degree in Social Work or related field. Two years of experience working with children, adolescents and families is required.  Experience in licensing is preferred.
