
Licensing Specialist - Recruitment

Job Summary:
This is a professional position responsible for recruiting, engaging, and supporting prospective foster parents through community outreach, relationship‑building, and guiding families through the initial steps of the licensing process.
Essential Functions:

Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with HFC customers

Bring research based recruitment initiatives and practices to the role

Recruit prospective foster families

Provide follow-up to all inquiries with re-engagement needs

Work with community partners in recruitment efforts

Plan and organize recruitment activities in the community

Assist in the development and maintain recruitment tracking systems

Provide ongoing up to date support, resources and referral information to foster caregivers

Enter family information into internal inquiry trackers

Co-host with Foster Home Information Orientation

Perform special projects as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Social Work or related field. Two years of experience working with children, adolescents and families is required. Experience in licensing is preferred.
