  • Job Summary:

    This is a management position responsible for the oversight of quality management and performance. 

  • Essential Functions:

    • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with HFC customers, departments and managers
    • Manage Quality Management Specialists and organize planned and specialized reviews as required
    • Lead the implementation and initial monitoring efforts related to specialized performance improvement projects
    • Lead the development and implementation of the Quality Assurance/ Quality Improvement program
    • Analyze, assess and distribute case management quality and performance data
    • Develop and maintain annual quality assurance plans
    • Provide presentations and technical assistance on all case management quality areas
    • Use statistical software to collect data, track trends, conduct analysis and develop reports that informs improvement plans
    • Ensure quality management specialists are experts in the system of care and can support an analysis of all operational areas in the systems of care
    • Aid with continuous quality improvement throughout the system of care, to include the ability to provide qualitative supports to additional external partners when necessary
    • Participate in weekly Performance & Quality Improvement (PQI) Committee meetings
    • Coordinate with other HFC departments, case management organizations, and DCF as necessary
    • Assist with COA accreditation process as designated
    • Other duties and special projects as assigned

  • Qualifications Required:

    Bachelor’s degree preferably in Social Work, Human Services or related.  Two to five years experience in the child welfare field. 

  • Qualifications Preferred:

    Experience performing Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement functions in the child welfare or human services field preferred
