Meet Aurora! If you ask those who know Aurora, they describe this 17-year-old as silly, empathetic, caring, respectful, and helpful! Like many teens, she enjoys hanging out with her friends both in person and through social media. She doesn’t have a one track mind though, she also loves nature and art. She loves movies and is a fan of comedy, fantasy, and anime. Aurora is open to new experiences and loves to tour different restaurants to try out various kinds of foods. Her favorites foods are sushi and spicy foods. She really is an explorer! Aurora shared if she could spend a day doing anything in the world, it would be going to the North where it’s cold and snowy! Some teens might find self-advocacy difficult, but not Aurora. She has learned to understand her needs and reach out to talk about them. She is keenly focused and highly motivated to achieve her goals. Her long term goal to accomplish is becoming a veterinarian doctor. She has a great interest in caring for animals. Aurora would benefit from a home that is patient, understanding, and structured. She would do well with a family that is nurturing, interactive, and can provide one-on-one attention.
