This is a professional position responsible for the re-licensing of foster family homes, providing support to new/existing parent/families, providing resources and training opportunities.

- Establish and maintain positive working relationship with HFC partners
- Monitor the ongoing development of child resource records and Medication Administration Record
- Carry caseload of licensed foster homes
- Review relicensing packets for accuracy and compliance with licensing regulations
- Complete home visits as required for each home
- Attend trainings, recruitment or retention activities for foster parents as requested
- Conduct re-licensure home studies as required within the specified time frames
- Monitor completion of training requirements for foster families
- Complete closure summaries and other documentation as required within the specified time frames
- Provide ongoing support, resource and referral information to foster families to provide placement stability
- Assure all background screening requirements are completed in a timely manner
- Assist and support foster parents in the investigation of allegations of abuse and neglect involving Foster Homes
- Attend Institutional Staffings
- Participate in In-Service Training
- Enter home visit notes timely
- Submit Re-licensing packets timely
- Participate in staffings involving foster homes and service providers
- Track and monitor waivers
- Complete special projects as assigned within designated time frames
- Perform special projects as assigned

Bachelors degree in Social Work or related field, Florida Child Welfare Certification and two years of experience working with children, adolescents and families is required.

Experience in Licensing is strongly preferred.
