Special Projects

Have you had a special project, idea, or resource that you and/or your organization, committee, club or staff members have been eager to develop and implement?  Are there supplies needed to help make your current committee or group successful with training or outreach efforts?  Are you working in a program to enrich the lives of children and need funding? Have you ever wanted to do a project to strengthen the community?

Community Mini-Grants

Heartland for Children has extended resources to assist in funding local mini-grant programs for the past couple of years. These programs have focused on enhancing protective factors in families to strengthen and support local families. For the fiscal years 2010-2011 and 2011-2012, Heartland for Children will be unable to provide these resources but is committed to working toward being able to fund these types of programs in the future as funding allows. Should you have any questions or concerns about this process, please contact Kathie Graydon at 863-519-8900, x.205. Thank you to all of the mini-grant applicants and recipients for your commitment to building strong families and communities.

Sponsored in part by the State of Florida Department of Children and Families

If you or your group has an interest in coordinating other special projects for Heartland for Children please contact Kim Daugherty at (863)519-8900 ext. 204.
